Active Supervision

As ECEs, we already know the importance of supervising

the children in our care. 

However, do we realize the true definition of Active Supervision

and how to implement it?

Together we will break-down this question and more, 

finding the best possible solutions in order to navigate our busy environments,

keeping children safe and engaged, all the while engaging with them on a meaningful level. 

During this workshop, we will explore:

• the definition of active supervision, from the POV of the educators and from the POV of the program's leadership team
• what is and is not considered active supervision
• 6 effective strategies to implement at your program
• the significance of safe and intentional indoor and outdoor environments 
• how respective relationships and communications with your               co-educators are an essential component, with an engaging team building communications activity
• the practice of vitals scenarios and plausible solutions
