
Mia has been in the fields of education, early learning and childcare for over 30 years. She first began her career as a public school teacher in Winnipeg and in the Greater Toronto Area, eventually transitioning into a career of Early Child Development in Calgary.
Mia has enjoyed several positions along the way, including Preschool/Kindergarten Educator, Family Day Home Consultant, as well as various ELCC leadership roles. In addition as a college ECED Instructor, she enjoys spending time with curious and energetic learners, supporting to shape a qualified and professional workforce.
Mia considers it an absolute honour to work alongside ELCC Programs and Family Day Home Agencies, supporting children’s crucial developmental years, enhancing each individual’s future and potential. In addition, she loves establishing, developing, and nurturing strong and intentional relationships with co-educators, children and their families.
